Happy Hour with SunCoast Market

SunCoast Market Co-op is a hosting a Meet & Greet happy hour at Nado Republic Tuesday October 9th from 5:30-7:30 p.m. Appetizers will be provided for anyone wanting to learn more about the grassroots movement to open a community-owned natural foods grocery store in Imperial Beach. Many Coronado residents have joined the efforts to bring even more local, organic, and fresh options to the area. SunCoast is a community-owned and built grocery store, there are no outside investors or behind the scenes owners. The store is being built through the purchase of membership-owner shares by community members. Once there are enough owners, SunCoast will seek loans and grants to fund the remaining costs to open the store. The store is organized as a co-operative cooperation so there are no assumed legal risks to those who choose to invest.
