Do you have an elementary or middle school student who wants to cook or learn more about local farming? SunCoast Market Co-op is partnering with The Ecology Center to distribute 100 Field kits donated by The Chuck and Ernestina Kreutzkamp Foundation. Kits are free to local families experiencing financial hardship.

You must reserve a kit in advance and pick up on August 26 between 9-10 a.m.

The Field Kit is great for little ones to celebrate and learn more about how food is grown. The Field Kit includes everything you need to make a family meal of black bean tacos and salsa. The kit is paired with an immersive take-home learning guide.

This is a recipe and activity box designed for younger students in the Imperial Beach area. You will need access to a kitchen to get the most out of this offering. Please note, this is not a food distribution box.
