SunCoast Farmer’s Market

As we prepare to open the doors to a 7 day a week, community-owned full service grocery store, we are hosting a SunCoast Farmer’s Market! Our goal is to support farms and businesses through this locally focused event. You can expect to find items that you might see in our store one day, including fresh produce, bakery items, body care and household products, along with other grocery delights.

Our Market Experience:

SunCoast Market is opening a grocery store that will connect people with local farms and businesses. While we build our community store, we want to provide that experience to you through an open air market with cafe seating to enjoy breakfast, lunch, coffee, and dessert along with dozens of thoughtfully selected vendors. We invite you to wander around, shop and talk with local businesses about their amazing products. Then share with us what you loved! SunCoast Market will be onsite asking for your feedback and talking about our store!

About The Market

Market Details

Our Farmer’s Market is held in Imperial Beach at 866 Imperial Beach Blvd.

Due to the overwhelming success of the Market, we are evaluating the best schedule moving forward. Currently, our next event is scheduled for August 20, 2022.

There is ample onsite and street parking with easy visibility and access. Leashed and well-behaved dogs are welcome!

Vendor Information

We are seeking vendors who sell a variety of items, with a focus on those that you might find in our future cooperative grocery store. 

Our vendor fees are $50 with a $15 discount for SunCoast Market Co-op members. To learn more about becoming a member, visit information on this website!

Please know that although we are seeking to develop relationships with local businesses and farms, participation on our Farmer’s Market cannot guarantee that you will be a vendor at the grocery store.

Additional information: 

– Spaces are 10 feet wide X 10 feet deep. Please bring your own 10 x 10 pop up tent, and you will need to keep your displays within the boundaries of your assigned space. We will permit a small sign out front, but it must not  impede the flow of people in the walkways nor impede access to neighboring tents, we want to have a fun and  safe event for all who attend, vendors and customers alike. We reserve the right to have you modify your display,  and/or move parts of your display we deem to be an issue in this regard. 

– We are trying to stay away from the buy and sell for this event and instead focus on locally grown or handmade products. 

– No electricity will be available.

– Since this event will be held on St James Lutheran Church property, vendors are expected to be respectful of the views of the church, and of the morals and standards to which this church adheres, regardless of your personal beliefs. We reserve  the right to have you remove products or displays that violate this policy. If in doubt, ask. 

– Vendor application acceptance is at the sole discretion of the organizers, and of the Sun Coast Market Co-Op, as we need to have a variety of vendors so that we can appeal to as many of the customers who attend as possible. 

– If two vendors wish to share a tent space, that is fine, but we will need photos of products and displays for each  vendor, as well as a completed application for each vendor. There will be no change in cost.

– Set up will be permitted to start at 6:00 AM and will be completed by the event begin time of 8:00 AM. All vehicles  will be out of the vendor areas by 7:30 AM. 

– Event will go on rain or shine, so check the weather and prepare accordingly.

– Once application is accepted, payment of the vendor fee will be payable to the organizer (vendors whose  applications are accepted will receive a confirmation email with those details), and there will be no refunds issued once funds are received 

– By completing and submitting this application, you agree to the items listed above.
